How To Do Natural Release On Instant Pot

The natural release on an Instant Pot is a way to let the pressure escape slowly from the pot, without using the quick release valve. This can be done by either waiting 10-15 minutes for the pressure to release on its own, or by releasing the pressure manually after 10 minutes. The natural release is a good option when you are cooking delicate foods, like seafood or eggs, because it prevents them from becoming overcooked.

How To Do Natural Release On Instant Pot

There are two ways to do a natural release on an Instant Pot- the quick release and the 10 minute release. For the quick release, turn the knob on top of the pot to “Venting” and wait for the pressure to release. For the 10 minute release, turn the knob to “Sealing” and wait 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, turn the knob to “Venting” to release the pressure.
